Going well

Posting will be sporatic as I am very busy...a good thing.

Down to 157.2 this morning after having a luncheon yesterday and then eating taco soup for dinner. So down 2 lbs. this morning. Not to shabby!

Time to Get Going Before 2012

Well, the rest of the year has not been so bad. I had stayed in my 150's for the most part however, last month I just could not get enough to eat and somehow went on a binge for about 3 weeks. I gained up to 159 when I realized that I had to do something serious or there was big (yes, literally) trouble ahead for me. I loaded over this past weekend and found myself up to 164.2. But was down today at 160.2. Glad I will be in the 150's within just two days of this program.

I can't say that I am happy to be back....but this is what works for me. I need to be strict on myself or I find that I will make an excuse for anything when it comes to food.

Back to Basics

I woke up to a 4 lb loss. Woo Whoo!! This does work if I will stick with it. Looking forward to being in the 140's by the end of the round. Wish this quick loss would continue for a while, but I am a realist in knowing that this was a quick drop due to losing mostly water. At least I lost the 4 lbs. I gained in loading. This time the loading worked as I am not hungry at all! Only when it is time to eat do I feel the hunger pains.

Menu today will look much like yesterday with the exception that Hal has said that he will grill us some steaks tonight -- even in the snow!

Do Over!!

160.2 after loading for two days (+4 lbs from pre load)

Things did not go well on my last go around and unfortunately for me that means weight gain. So with Christmas and a failed try, I am doing a "do over". I have my trusted friend Kelly as my accountability partner so I know this time it will work!!

So today -
100 grams ground chicken
cucumbers
grissini
1/2 apple

Dinner will be

P3 chili
grissini
strawberry sorbet (made from frozen strawberries, water and stevia)

The hard part is that since it is so cold here in Houston, I am finding that I am not wanting to drink my water which is a must on this protocal. So far 5 glasses today -- needing to get 5 more in before bedtime.

Wednesday night Hal and I went to H&H kitchen where I had a de-cafe capiciano. I think that held me on Thursday to a no loss (but no gain) day. So I'm down again today with the weekend looming. Will be eating out tonight with friends at a steak house.....that should be easy enough and then we have small group at our home on Sunday. Fortunately others are bringing a dessert.
